Hey what's up, my name is Drew. I am the owner & Founder of Black Sh33p 3ntertainment LLC. 

I got my start in the music industry in 2012 and have spent the last decade performing all over the country. It all began a year prior in Cancun, Mexico. 

I was on Spring Break at the hotel beach party listening to DJ Blackout, who is another Detroit native. Throughout the weekend, I continued to be enamored with his music and the way he could entice a crowd. By the end of the trip, he had graciously taken me under his wing, and that’s when I was provided the blueprint and step-by-step tools to start my very own DJ career.

In addition to the tools given, DJ Blackout also offered words of wisdom that still stick with me to this very day. “You can’t do it for the fame or the money.  It has to be for the love and passion for the music and come from your soul.”  And that is why I DJ– for the passion I have for music.

Later that year, I picked up the name DJ Halfbr33d while playing euchre in a friend’s garage.  What started off as a joke, eventually became the name I would go by for the rest of my career! Fast forward to 2016, when my world completely turned upside down... On December 18th, my grandmother passed away, and then several months later, I would also lose my Uncle Jerry. These were the two most influential people in my life.

It was in those darkest hours that Black Sh33p 3ntertainment was born. Hidden within the name are three 3’s, which represents the angels numbers and the angels that I now have in my life looking down over me. This business was built with family in mind.  Both my Grand Mother & Uncle were big influences in my life and they helped mold me into the person I am today. They always told me that people invest in you, and not your business. So here are some things about me.
